He was born on January 13th 1859. He came from Mesolonghi and when he lost his parents in 1867 he and his siblings moved to Mesolonghi where they stayed until 1875.
His work , which is rich in poems and other literary texts, had tremendous appeal not only in Greece but also worldwide.
