Library Trivia

Something I'd like to try in the library is monthly trivia events to coordinate with the heritage months or other major events happening that month. If any clubs are interested in cohosting with my support, let me know! For example, GSA might want to help with something for Pride in June, or MEChA might want to do an Hispanic Heritage Month trivia.

If any clubs are interested in collaborating with the library on events, displays, etc. we'd love to work with you. For example, if your group has community connections for guest speaker volunteers or if you'd like to help with a library display for a heritage month or other event. We welcome your ideas and involvement to make this an inclusive space.

Gender And Sexuality Alliance (GSA)

On May 9th we are having an open mic night/afternoon at the Albany Public Library. We will also be hosting a bake sale during it. It’s open to all the schools in the Greater Albany School District! We don’t have an official time yet, but it will be on the SAHS GSA instagram account when we have all the information.

SAHS NHS has our Chipotle fundraiser on Wednesday, May 21 from 4pm-8pm at the Albany Chipotle. Be sure when ordering to mention you're there to support SAHS NHS. 25% of sales go to our amazing NHS students here at South! Drama Club: 3rd Annual Theater Spring Awards Gala

Happening on May 31st, at 6pm, the SAHS Theater Department is holding the 3rd Annual Theater Spring Awards Gala where we will celebrate the work of our 24-25 season and the people who've been nominated for their hard work this season. There will be friends, food, and fun! Everyone is welcome (we encourage you bring a friend!)
