2.I have been to Maui before when I was younger and it is my favorite place I have ever traveled. The weather is so nice and there are so many things to do, like snorkel, cliff jumping, and just swimming in the ocean. And it just fun to see the different way that people live there. And the food there is also awesome. There is so much good seafood to enjoy. And the hotel I stayed at for a little bit was the Grand Wailea which is super cool and has a fun pool. Also there was a beach that had black sand which was super cool to see.
3: Maui is in the USA which means it is under a representative democracy. Which means people vote for people to lead there government. 3: The system of government they have is direct democracy. direct democracy is where the people have the majority of the power. The people have a say in whether a law is passed so they vote on it, so the government doesn't just have all the power. This system can be affective but can also not be because the people could not truly know what's right but the gov could and not be able to do anything about it because it's the peoples choice.

2. Specifically I would like to visit the city of Canggu in Bali. Lastly I would like to go on some form of wildlife excursion so that I can see animals that I cannot see here and have never seen before. I think this would be a cool way to enjoy the nature in a new place.
3. Bali's form of government is presidential representative democratic republic. Executive power is held by the president. the president is in charge of both the state and the government. So, the president holds much of the power but power is still in the people because it is a democratic republic.

2. I want to go there because there is so much history there. It also has interesting culture and ideas. The buildings and art are unique and have always interested me. Architecture is a cool subject to me, and with structures like the colosseum, Rome seems like the place to go for that. Its history, as I mentioned, is very interesting to me. One reason being that the Romans were notorious for keeping very good written records. This means everything is documented, even if it happened hundreds of years ago--which I find amazing.

3. Italy itself is a parliamentary democracy, which means it has a prime minister in charge. But Rome itself--which is a city within Italy--is a theocracy. This means that the ruling body are in charge because of religious reasons, and it is one of only two theocracies in the world. Italy runs under a unitary system of government; they centralize power in the national government.

Ive heard that japan is one of the best places in the world to go snowboarding because of all the powder/snow they get. they can get up to 6 feet of snow in 1 night. 3. Japans government is a Unitary parliamentary constitutional monarchy. Which means that they have a king or queen, but they are more ceremonial than an actually king or queen. the power doesn't reside with them it resides in the prime minister who does all the governmental parts of japan and the king or queen is just there for national pride and culture. Japan also has a constitution so the prime minister is has some rules and does not just have complete power over the whole government.

Switzerland is also home to some of the Highest peaks of the Alps, the Zytglogge clock tower and Lucerne’s wooden chapel bridge. All of these landmarks make for some incredible sight seeing and tourist attractions.

Kings Canyon is a vast canyon in the outback that spans about 6 kilometers. 2) Italy is a beautiful country and Sicily in particular is great because its surrounded by the sea. Palermo is the capital of Sicily so it has so much energy and life in it. I have some family still in Palermo, but I've never been. I'd really like to go there and immerse myself with the culture, especially the language and food.
3) Sicily is a region of Italy so it has a semi-presidential representative democracy. The country's parliament has been divided into thee branches, the Executive, legislative and Judicial branch, each have pretty similar role to the US. The prime minister is a big part of the French Parliament. 2. Nice weather with a lot of different things to do, lots of king salmon to catch, deep sea fishing, big mountains for climbing and heli skiing, rafting, really pretty views, costal and hiking trails, lots of wildlife you can see along the coast, and bear walks.

3. Alaska's part of the us so i wouldn't have to worry about traveling outside of the country and dealing with a different government than we have in Michigan. They have a representative democracy, this is where the people vote on who they want to represent them
