I used to think my students will be more enthusiastic about their learning (of LSP) with edTech. Today has further strengthen that belief and I am able to see how their learning can be enhanced when using apps for reading and spelling

I used to think that using EdTech will take too much time especially in teaching LSP students how to use the device and navigating the website/app.

Now I think the 'time consuming' factor is actually an investment as students are able to pick up and eventually learn independently. Students can also use the Edtech tool/app at home.

In a nutshell, it is worth the trouble :)

I used to assign reading activities in SLS. Now I plan to insert links to other Edtech tools/app (in this case Starfall) in the same SLS lesson for students to attempt.
