1. This is a contest where participants can submit a mascot for the ISS summer Festival 2026. In addition to having their mascot, the best 5 submissions will get points

2. It can be any format such as pixel art, vector art etc. Upload your photo, as a PNG by clicking the + button

3. The submission must not contain any offensive content

4. The deadline for submitting is June 15th JST, or June 14th EST

5. On the last day, we will enable liking. Participants of festival may like their favorite submission

This is Happy-kun, a bear wearing a Happi robe, often worn by festival teams during Japan's summer festival . Name is also inspired by the flying cat in Fairy Tail.

This is Celebration-kun. He is a firework that is holding both the Ohio State University and the University of Tsukuba's logos. This shows the unity between the Ohio State University and the University of Tsukuba through the Iss summer festival. I choose a firework because it represents celebration and is one of the main items used during the Japanese summer festival.
