Facebook can bring either positive or negative effect depending on how an individual use it. It can help students to know the issues around the world and share their opinions to the class. With the help of Facebook, they can share their knowledge and skills that may also help other people. It can contribute to students' improvement but it can also distract them when this is used in a negative way. Many students nowadays are being dependent on gadgets. Sometimes, Facebook is becoming a hindrance to students' improvement especially when they can't control themselves in using it. They can't focus on their studies and fail to do a time management because of this.

Facebook is the most popular social networking site in this world. It is founded by Mark Zuckerberg. Its' madely aim is to connect to other people, socialize, and make advertising. The users needs to create their own account which bears their personal information. Most of the student doesn't realize the negative effects of facebook on their life and the main reason is because they are already addicted to it . And this addiction can lead to several negative developments

Academic performance describes how well you performed in school. Especially on different subjects. Academics are courses that are graded and retained for school records while performance is how an individual performed, if they performed well or not.

According to Michael Morral, student’s academic performance is the gradual, measurable grading of achievement as evident in grades earned, GPA, High school diploma, Bachelors Degree and further. Students don’t often publish but they must continuously keep pace with the instruction and be able to convey an acceptable standards of literacy, knowledge and facility through graded test scores and completion of educational benchmarks. That will enable them to move up the ladder of academic achievement/performance. 

It has lot of good benefits but we will focus on its bad effects. Many people spends too much time on Facebook and it can be quite dangerous, it can cause negative psychological effects. It can give a health harming depression and stress and can also make us more emotional like being disgusted, guilty and nervous. It can also cause a low academic performance because it has also a tendency that the lessons that we learned at school can be forgotten. Some people are getting addicted to this kind of social media which wasted our time and becoming source of distraction but they're still using it.

As time goes by, Facebook becomes more toxic. It has bad influence and effects especially on youth. We've seen things even those things that we must not see yet. So some people become horny and it may lead to subliminal effect. Youth want to try different things because of what

they have seen. And because of their wants to follow the trends, they're already doing the things they must not doing yet. 

It may also lead to depression just because youth want to follow the trends. They starting to have the kind of mindset that whatever they've seen, they are pursuing to have that too. That's why they're starting to self pity, thinking why they don't have that kind of stuffs?  Those bad effects are teaching us not to be contented and thankful of what we have. Instead, it's leading us to worse situation and even worst until we may think of suicidal thoughts.

This survey depend on how this web base life application called facebook influences the understudies who utilize or philosophies used to have a suitable outcome on the impact of Facebook to the scholastic exhibition of the understudies. Facebook platform collaborate to other to make more ideas than twice the average quantity of time spent in college every year (Ride out,2012,p5) she additionally adds that an Asian child spends on common seven and a half hours a day just for having fun on the media no longer solely that , however they multi-task. Participants

    The research was conducted includes the population of STEM 11-A. Students of Richwell Colleges, Inc. School year 2018-2019.

    The table above exhibited the number of student who participated in our study. Majority of them are male with a frequency of 22 while 9 of them are female making a total population of 31. Students Respondents on our research are students with age ranging from 15 years old to 18 years old.

Research Instrument

    The study was successfully conducted with the help of survey questionnaire adapted from the paper of Aminetal, (2016) entitled, “impact of social media on students Academic Performances”. The type of questionnaire that was disseminated to STEM 11-A, students of Richwell Colleges, Inc., was 

Data Gathering

    In order to collect data for the paper, the researchers directly conducted a survey in Richwell Colleges Inc. with the involvement of students from STEM 11-A, the research study was successful accomplished. The researchers believed that the gathered information will reinforce the study.

Data Analysis

    The accumulated data was carefully analysed by the researches in order to present reliable and sufficient information that will strengthen the study in line with this Frequency.

    Base on the research we made, Facebook is a social media where you can connect to people and express yourself easily with your relative and friends. Facebook also helps you to have further connections and relations to the people around you. Based on the survey of how 11 students has been affected by Facebook many of them knows how to balance the use of Facebook when it comes to their studies and for me the affect of Facebook is not that bad when it comes to students because they can still manage. Facebook involve us socially connected and technologically sided to our love ones. Facebook encourages us to associate with other individuals, to encourage us on our investigations, however contrarily, it can make diversions Academic Performances of understudies. In some ways, it can assist understudies with communicating to their companions, cohorts and instructors, to get some information about essential issues, to improve their energy and abilities, and to help them on their everyday schedule.

       Be that as it may, we should all be mindful in taking care of our web-based social networking accounts, since Facebook effect sly affect us, we should be a canny client of internet based life, we need to invest energy admirably on perusing and utilizing it, understudies ought to do first the most critical, or know their needs throughout their life. Understudies find Facebook as their outlet to lighten their pressure. Facebook is so useful in various plans.     And as a conclusion, as long as Facebook is balanced by the students and it helps them to know the limitation in using such application then Facebook isn’t destructive in the studies of grade 11 students at all.

ABSTRACT

This study provides the effect of Facebook’s                                                                                            usage among the students that  is on the top                                                                                    of the line these days, all the talk, opinions,                                                                                 comments  and insights, thoughts, knowledge                                                                                       and life of the students; all of this shows that                                                                               Facebook  is always involved. On this research                                                                                        we will figure out if that using Facebook as a                                                                              Grade 11 students like us will affect us positively                                                                             or negatively and if it is destructive or helpful in our                                                                          studies and life.
