Piri Reis İlkokulu'nda öğretmen sınıfa girdi çocuklar size güzel bir haberim var dedi. Öğrenciler çok merak ettiklerini dile getirdiler.
Öğretmen tamam söylüyorum diyerek çocukların dahada meraklanmalarının önüne geçti.Güzel bir projeye başlıyoruz. Hayvanların sesi olacağız dedi. Projemizin adı Sessiz Arkadaşlarımız, Hayvanlar. Sınıfımıza hayvanlar misafir edeceğiz. Onların soğuk günlerde aç kalmamaları için çalışmalar yapacağız. Öğrencilerin  hepsi çok pür dikkat dinliyordu. Deniz merakla sordu öğretmenim çok güzel bir proje yalnız bizim sınıf mı yapacak. Öğretmen Deniz'in sorusunu çok beğendi ve dedi ki:
-Evet çocuklar projemiz çok güzel ve 17 okul birlikte yürüteceğiz bu projeyi, hatta yabancı ortaklarımızda bu projede olacaklar. Polonya, Ukranya ve İtalya da bizimle birlikte bu projede görev alacaklar  dedi. Bunu duyan öğrencilerin sevinci bir kat daha arttı.

Piri Reis elementary school teacher entered the classroom, I said you had a good news. The students expressed their curiosity.
The teacher said that I was telling the children to avoid further worries. We have started a beautiful project. He said we would be the voice of the animals. The name of our project was Silent Friends, Animals. We would  host animals to our class. We would  be working on them to keep them hungry on cold days. All students were listening very carefully. Deniz curiously asked my teacher a very nice project would make our class alone. The teacher liked Deniz's question and said:
Yes, our project was very beautiful and 17 schools would  run together this project, even our foreign partners would be in this project. Poland, Ukraine and Italy would take part in this project together with us. Bir gün öğencim Barbaros sınıfa bir kuş getirdi. Adı Nazlı'ydı. Bütün sınıf o gün çok heyecanlandık. Barbaros öğretmenim Nazlı' nın fotoğrafını çıkartıp boyayalım mı dedi. Öğrenciler hep bir ağızdan evet boyama yapalım dediler. Bende onları kıramadım. Bir kuş resminin çıktısını alıp öğrencilerimle boyama çalışması yaptık. Panomuzda sergiledik. Sonra projemizin bir etkinliği olan karlı ve soğuk günlerde sessiz arkadaşlarımızı unutmayalım diye düşünerek  bahçemizde hayvanlara yiyecek  birşeyler verdik. One day my student Barbaros brought a bird to the class. His name was Nazlı. The whole class was very excited that day. My Barbaros teacher said, "Let's take a picture of Nazlı and paint it." The students always said yes to paint. I couldn't break them. We took a print of a bird painting and painting with my students. We exhibited in our panel. Then, in an activity of our project, we thought we should not forget our silent friends in the snowy and cold days. Öğretmenden izin alan Ahunur, tahtada arkadaşlarına bu şişeyi neden getirdiğini anlatmaya başladı. Şişeyi bir yanından hafifçe kesmiş, içine yumuşak kumaşlar koymuştu. En son çantasından çıkardığı buğdayları da içine serpiştirip, arkadaşlarına işte size kuş evi diye seslendi. Hem kuşların yuvası ve yiyeceği olacak, hem de atıl haldeki malzemeleri tekrar kullanabileceğiz diye atıldı Metin. Arkadaşı Ahunur için alkış istedi. Haklıydı. Gökteki kuşlara dahi yardım elini uzatabileceğini fark eden öğrencilerin neşeleri yüzlerine yansımıştı. Hep bir elden arkadaşlarını tebrik edip, kuş evini yakından gözlemlediler. Öğrencilerinin gözlerindeki hayvan sevgisini ve yardım etme sevincini gören öğretmenin tüm yorgunluğu gitmişti. As the students learned the mysterious world of animals, their interest in animals increased. The students, who started to understand that the animals had emotion, wanted to make more effort for them. One day, Ahunur came with a 5-liter water bottle in her hands. Ahunur got permission from her teacher and began to tell his friends at stage why he brought this bottle to the class. He gently cut the bottle from one side and put soft fabrics in it. He sprinkled the wheat which he had removed from her bag and said 'That's birdhouse.' to his friends. 'Both birds will have a nest and food,  we can use the materals dumped again' said Metin. Metin wanted his friends to applaud Ahunur . He was right. Even the birds in the sky were able to be helped. their cheers were reflected on their faces. They congratulated their friend, Ahunur and observed the birdhouse closely. All the tiredness of the teacher was gone when she saw the animal love and cheer of helping in students' eyes .
