This Spring we will explore the great minds and styles that have shaped design history. I've been teaching at SDCC for 25 years and have taught this subject both online and on campus. I live and work in downtown San Diego and the UNESCO world heritage city of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. One of the exciting things about online learning is the potential to connect and learn wherever in the world you might be. In the past we've been lucky to have many students living, working or studying abroad join us.

I am a native to San Diego. I enjoy surfing, river, desert, snowboarding, hiking, and traveling. This should be my last semester at Mesa/City college, and look forward to transferring and continuing in my education in Criminal Justice. I currently work in that field now, but looking to advance my career goals. This class seems to be very interesting and informative. I hope it's fun 8 weeks, and I look forward to meeting everybody. I am starting my second year at City College. I am working towards my transfer credits to SDSU to complete a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science to advance further in my career in the Information Technology industry. I am looking forward to learning and being able to use the knowledge I'll gain from this class to implement it in my works in the IT field.

Hello everyone, I am currently enroll in my third year at City College. I am majoring electrical engineering, and also working on in the field of IT industry. I am looking forward in this online class, and this is my first time taking it. Hopefully it is all working well. I am taking this class because it is my GE requirement. I hope to get to know much of graphic history because it is one of my favorite subject. Through it I hope to gain more knowledge from this class so that I could apply in real life as a tool for future IT/EE. I also love computer, fixing electrical board.

Hello! I am a part time college student who's majoring in math. I was born and raised in San Diego, I currently live in North Park and absolutely love it. I am very excited to take this class, i've always enjoyed creative projects so I think I'm going to have a lot of fun throughout this course. If you guys haven't checked out the videos on how to create your design history journal, I highly suggest you check it out. I was feeling slightly overwhelmed before I watched it but now I feel ready for the course. Good luck everyone!

I enjoy making art projects, dancing ballet, learning about civilizations through out art history, and visiting museums. I am currently enrolled at City College, but Im also taking classes at Mesa, this will be my first semester at Mesa College, and I am really looking forward into it. Im passionate about psychology, therefore thats what Im majoring in, however I am still undecided on my specialty. Im employed at Banana Republic Factory Outlet form Las Americas and I couldnt be any happier with the job that I have. My plan is to transfer to SDSU and embrace as a psychologist.

I am enrolled in City College. I'm trying to complete required courses to get me graphic design certificate or associate degree, or even transfer, it's not decided yet. I do look forward to learn new things and get new knowledge throughout the time though. Art has been fun for me and I am down to experience more approach of it; history on the other hand has never been my forte, so I don't know, hope things go well. Good luck to everyone as well.

Hi everyone! My official name is Olena, but everyone call me Elena. I was born in Ukraine and grew up there. Not so long time ago I moved in USA, I love this country and thankful for opportunity to live here. I like to explore American culture and the country. I love San Diego for the beautiful sunsets, nature, weather and of course the ocean! I have a very big family - my parents, 3 sisters and 7 brothers. I love listen and play music, my favorite style of music probably will be classic music. I’m Christian, I’m playing piano and singing in the worship team in the church, this is one of my favorite part of the week, I love to do that and really enjoying by doing that. In my free time I like to read, do hiking, running, spend time at the beach, or just hang out with my friends. I love food, and i think San Diego has so many good choices of the different kind of food! This is my first semester at the college, and I really exciting about it!
