         <description><![CDATA[<p>Reasoning</p><ol><li><p>Explaining for informational purpose why the evidence supports the claims. Emphasizing the why and the how. Explains how the fact matters. </p></li></ol><p>Deyo wonders if you can shuffle CER order in an argumentative essay vs an informational essay?</p><p><br/></p><ol start="2"><li><p>Sentence frames “this shows” “why does this makes sense” “it is apparent that or clearly, the data shows”</p></li><li><p>Reference to subject matter concepts properly. Ie. vocabulary, laws and theories, formulas. </p></li><li><p>The GIST 5Ws +H. Sentence starters “My answer is this, because….” Demonstrations; peer to peer instructions,  peer to peer critique, guiding questions, meet them where they are and give them tools (frames, starters, visuals)</p></li></ol>]]></description>
