Neatly trimmed vines greedily hugged the worn-out doorframe, aged hickory brown bricks whispered ancient stories and sunlight bounced off the pearl white French windows, casting an angelic glow. My heart leapt with jubilation as Francis waved frantically from the living room window, smiling so wide, I half worried that her face would peel off. I grinned like a mad man in return and hastily strode into the cosy house which had been warmed up by the hearth.

It is called The Valparaíso City. The Valparaíso city is quite a large city with narrow lanes in between buildings and houses. It is not crowded most of the time which makes it quite empty, although the bright vivid colours of the city is fairly pleasing to the eye. The houses were as glamorous as gems which gave a positive feeling about the place. Some of the houses there were enormous, you would need a map to find the rooms inside! As I ran down the bare city lane, my hand glided across the smooth feel of the beaming sky blue, bubblegum pink, peachy orange, lemon yellow and forest green paint on the walls of the buildings and the peaceful atmosphere which was filled with the sound of chirping birds. Whilst I cheerfully galloped like a deer from road to road, I got the scent of freshly baked cupcakes from the downtown bakery. The radiantly glowing buildings gave my tongue the taste of crunchy colorful skittles. The Valparaíso City sure is a magnificent place to visit, especially in the summer. Birds chirp in the background taking cover in the trees that stood quite tall bending in such obscure manners with a musty brown, thick and sturdy bark that lead all the way to the top and branches out towards the cobalt blue sky that had swirls of clouds blocking the sun from coming out. The pathway that led into the house was cracked and shattered; its chiseled stone design was ruined as time grew by leaving space for little water streams and colored in by the moss. The pathway was bordered with a chocolate brown  picket fence that blocked the dense overgrowth of the occupants there.
Time didn’t really ruin the cottage, rather adorned it with the minuscule plants that choked the wall and the chaotic spread of vegetation embellished it.
