My Mission Statement

My mission as a nurse practitioner is to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients from a variety of backgrounds. I intend to strengthen my advocacy skills through continued professional growth and education. I believe in equity, social justice, and patient-centered care. Throughout my career, I will work with social workers to remove barriers to care. Advocacy improves patient safety and quality of care. For me, life can be an odd thing; it has a way of presenting things we want while yet keeping them out of grasp at times. We normally draw some type of realization or truth from each encounter as we grow and move through life's experiences, both good and negative. The difference between us is whether we accept these facts and evolve from them. I became a healthcare professional because I have a strong desire to help others. Nursing, unlike many other professions, offers a gratifying experience. Finally, the professional mission statement will further develop my discipline in providing high-quality care.

Future Vision of Nurse Practitioners

The nursing profession is continually evolving to keep up with healthcare advances and to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. Nurse practitioners (NPs) are always evolving to keep up with medical breakthroughs and guarantee that patients receive the best possible care. Nurse practitioners (NPs) are future clinicians. For the NP roles, a master's degree from an accredited nursing college is required. NPs are specialized training in specialty care or primary care. Nurse practitioners can assess patients, arrange specialized tests, make diagnoses, and write prescriptions. NPs' roles have altered throughout time, from being subordinate to partnering with physicians. A consistent NP scope of practice across the United States should be implemented to help give patients the greatest care and patient safety.

The competencies of the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties (NONPF) enable the student to demonstrate successful professional progress. These competences build on and integrate the fundamental competencies of the DNP and Master of Nursing programs. In general, educational programs must follow rules in order to prepare nursing practitioners to efficiently carry out their obligations and full scope of practice. Competencies are essential abilities and behaviors for all nursing practitioners that must be shown upon graduation, regardless of the demographic focus of the school. Nurses must integrate these competencies in order to effectively transfer rapidly developing information into nursing practice in the dynamic healthcare environment. Nurse practitioner graduates are required to have skills and knowledge necessary for autonomous clinical practice. Notably, the Nurse Practice basic competencies are typically learned through mentored patient care experiences and by emphasizing patient-centered care, analytical skills for evidence-based practice, and inter-professional practice.
