On June 20th, 2019, I flew by plane to Bogotá for the first time. I was 24 years old and I remembered feeling very anxious because I had never been on a flight. I flew alone because I went to visit a friend.

MY FIRST 10KM

On July 29th, 2019, I ran my first 10km in Bogotá. I felt very excited because I had never run this distance and at the same time scared because I had not trained enough. I went to this competition with some friends and finally finished in an hour and I felt very proud of myself for this time.

MY TRIP TO ZAPATOCA

In December 2019, when I was running in Zapatoca with my friends, I had my first knee injury. I remember that while I was running I felt very strong pain. However, I continued with the competition for 2 km. At kilometer 5, I had to stop because I couldn't feel my right leg, the coach called an ambulance and we went to the nearest hospital, the doctor told me that it had been a serious injury and that I wouldn't be able to run for at least 6 months.

MY 25th BIRTHDAY

One of the happiest days of my life was January 8th, 2020, the day of my 25th birthday. That day I received the first flowers of my life, I was also with my co-workers and my family, they gave me many gifts . I remember that I was very happy because it was the first time that I had had a special birthday.

MY TRIP TO MEDELLIN

One of my favorite trips was the first time I went to Medellin in March 2020. I was very excited because it was my first time in that city. I went with my boyfriend, we traveled by bus and we had the opportunity to see many tourist sites in the city. I fell in love with Medellin, the people and the beautiful places.

THE DEATH OF MY AUNT

On September 20th, 2020, my family and I experienced a very sad moment with the death of one of our family members from covid-19. I remember that we were in a pandemic and my aunt was very sick, she was in the hospital for 2 weeks, during that time we were all very worried until she died due to respiratory problems.

AFTER DE PANDEMIC

In 2021, after the pandemic and many sad memories, life began to be normal, I was able to see many friends again, I started going out again to places within the city. I felt grateful to continue and be alive. I started to love more, to appreciate more and to live more.

CARTAGENA

On August 17th, 2021, was my first trip to Cartagena and the second time I flew by plane. It was a different trip because it had been a long time since I had visited the beach. I went with a group of friends, we went boating, we walked around the city and we were very happy to spend time together.

A NEW JOB!!!

On October 25th, 2022, I started a new job at a bank. After being unemployed for a long time, a new stage began. I felt very happy and grateful to have a new job and at the same time anxious about the process.

I continue to work in the same place, I have learned many things and I have participated in many company activities.

Last month I had to say goodbye to my best friend. She traveled to Australia for study. That day I felt very sad for not seeing her for a long time but also excited because she was going to know new things and live new experiences. I hope to see you soon
