The gingerbread man ran so fast and screamed: "run, run, as fast as you can. You can't catch me, i'm the gingerbread man". Many people and animals chased him: the old woman, her husband, a cow, a horse,... But nobody could catch him.

Finally, he came to a river. A clever fox said,
"I"ll help you cross the river, jump on my back" The gingerbread man trusted the fox. When they crossed the river, the fox tricked him and ate him.
