I am Alejandra Cuellar Gómez, I am 31 years old, I live in the city of Bogotá with my husband and my daughter, I am from Neiva Huila, I am in the second semester of psychology, I currently work in the Colombian national police, an institution in which I have spent a little more than 12 years.

My name is Alejandra Cuellar Gómez, I am 31 years old, I am Colombian, I work in the National Police of Colombia, the language I speak is Spanish, I have been married for 11 years, I am currently studying second semester of psychology; In my free time I love to ride a bicycle and also go to the gym, I am a fan of exercise and taking care of my body.
I was born in Neiva Huila, but I live in Bogotá with my husband and daughter, in an apartment located in the Eduardo Santos neighborhood; I have been living in this área for more than eight years, which is very commercial because of the sale of auto parts, in addition there are many restaurants, supermarkets, hospitals, beauty salons, pharmacies, it also has two main parks and the church that is surrounded by two public schools. My job is located five blocks from my apartment, which is the Criminal Investigation academy; Because of its proximity, I walk or ride my bicycle. This is a área mainly affected by crimes such as drug trafficking and theft in different forms, since there are social problems such as homeless people which generate sources of insecurity.
I usually get up from Monday to Friday at 05:00 a.m., I have breakfast at approximately 08:00 a.m. and I leave to work by bicycle or walking, I do my paper work and I usually have lunch between 12:00 and 01:00 pm, I get back home at 08:00 pm, I have dinner and then spend time talking with my husband and daughter, finally I go to bed at 09:00 pm. In my time off on the weekends I like to go to church and spend family time with my husband and daughter; Closing this brief history or summary of my activities, I want to let you know that I do not practice English frequently, I only do it as a requirement of the university, since I do not like this language.

Me considero una persona muy disciplina y cuando me propongo algo, me esfuerzo día a día para conseguir, es por ello que con el tema de mi estudio en la universidad soy organizada y a diario ingreso a la plataforma, verifico el foro y participo de acuerdo a las instrucciones de la guía, el correo y demás material que sea de ayuda para el desarrollo de cada actividad o tarea, esta primera tarea fue enriquecedora ya que me vi en la necesidad de retomar vocabulario básico de inglés que vi en el colegio, el cual es muy necesario para la vida profesional y personal, aunque debo reconocer que el inglés no es mi pasión, pero lo hago por una necesidad y con la mejor disposición de aprender ya que es una segunda lengua necesaria en cualquier ámbito.

En esta autoevaluación califico mi trabajo en 10, ya que desarrolle cada una de las etapas conforme a lo establecido en la guía con mucho compromiso, disciplina y ganas de aprender, dando siempre lo mejor de mí.

Talking about myself
Mi name is Alejandra, I am Married since eight years ago, I am from neiva huila, I am 31 years old I work as a police officer and right now I am studying psychology. Currently I live in the Bogota city and when I have free time I enjoy to ride my bicycle
Talking about my city
The main turistic places of my city are the tatacoa´s desert, the shore of the Magdalena´s river, the Santander central park among others, it´s gastronomy it´s very known all around the country, the most famous plate is the lechona, tamal and the huilense grill, my city is a very known place by it´s fairy and traditional parties of san juan and san pedro, I usually assist to these events.
In my city there is cultural diversity, that’s why it´s population often do sport, cultural, turistic and religious activities.

En esta autoevaluación calificó mi trabajo en 8, ya que desarrolle cada una de las etapas conforme a lo establecido en la guía con mucho compromiso, disciplina y ganas de aprender, dando siempre lo mejor de mí. Es de resaltar que esa calificación la doy teniendo en cuenta que la práctica oral no fue la mejor puesto que fueron muchas las dificultades para tener una pronunciación adecuada.
