The aim for our event is too attract 50 attendees. We will track this using a clicker on the door for each person that that attends , who have bought a ticket online or on the door. We will promote the event through social media ads to ensure we hit our target . with a combined total of 2616 followers for the bands performing , we will aim for a 1.9SMART TARGET FOR EVENT% conversion rate to reach our goal of 50 people. The attendance at our event will support our broader goal of expanding our bands fanbase and connecting with wider audiences . To confirm our success we will measure our audience size.

The vent is a "battle of the bands" style of event with two completely different genres one being indie and the other being heavy metal.

My role within the group

On the day of event i will be greeting guests as they enter the venue with a pen to label them allowing them access in and out of the venue while doing a headcount of people to make sure there aren't enough people to pose a fire risk. the venue has a capacity of 141 so this is extremely important we don't put peoples lives in danger.

Most of my role is on the day of the gig with a printed itinerary of all the bands playing , sit list , needs and everything regarding the venue and its needs. I will be presenting the event from the stage creating a good atmosphere , encouraging people to go to the bar and interacting with the crowd.

After each band has gone on the stage i will be interviewing them asking about there band , how it started ect and how they think there performance went.

As long as the bands are happy and we have a good turnout i can see this being a success

This budget sheet shows our initial projections for our "battle of the bands" night which was our original idea. The event itself is different , as in no longer a BOTB event but the ticket sales and goals remain the same. Within the sheet you can see our projected sales including our grant which we had too apply for.

Advertisement towards the event

For our event Eloise is in charge of advertisement which is a good fit for her considering her artistry skills and understanding of the social media space. Out of all social media sights she recommends Instagram to appeal to our age demographic of 18-25.

The account is called "pier pressure promotions" a creative name based of the Brighton area.
