We will go at each student's speed. So, that will mean each class will be at a different level. We will have group or individual work being done. We want students to feel comfortable where they are in class. When we have groups they will be broken down into small groups. They will get each is taught the same thing. Some groups might learn more quickly than others. This is what our school is known for since we deal with medical, delays, and other problems we will know how to deal with everything.

We also will have iPads for students that are not verbal.  With the Chromebooks, we will use them to do some ELA and math work on them. The students will take them home every day for homework. Then, on the weekends the students will keep them at school, so we can charge them. The iPads will be used for students that can't verbalize.  with words. Every day they will be a communication bag will be sent home with a daily report. They also can reach by e-mail and phone. If it is by either of those, we will have hours that will be able to talk or e-mail either before or after school. They are a family to all of the students. They will donate when they can and want to see the students succeed in their education.  We wouldn't be where we are without everyone's help. Here is a list of what we will have for the year as well.

1. We will have an open house where parents/caregivers to see what the students have done so far.

2. We will have conferences in the middle of the year to talk about the process they had made. 

3. Feild day at the end of the year. Parents/caregivers can come and volunteer.

4. In week two I made a decision I really want to work with children with special needs. I have children that have disabilities but reading the article Individuals with Disabilities Education Act: 40 Years Later (December 10, 2015) really made me decide this is what I want to do. I want to be able to help and give the students the help they need. This course made an impact on my life and opened up my eyes about what schools really go through besides teaching the students. I want to change one student's or even multiple one's life. Each student should be able to learn at their own pace and not feel overwhelmed. I also loved reading The Fish in a tree. Seeing how the teacher helped Ally with her problems.  I want to be able to do the same in my future.
