If it is in a car, airplane, bus or 2 hours or 20 hours away... I love traveling. I started to travel since I was a baby and I am grateful for my dad for being able to provide me with such a gift. I have been to many different countries, cities and states and just to see how beautiful the world is, it is breathtaking. I really enjoy meeting new people, new cultures and eating different food because it all makes me happy and it makes my heart so full. The world is so big and it makes me feel like I do not know anything about life and it makes me realize that there is a lot that needs to be experienced and explored. In my next journey, I plan on visiting Costa Rica because I have only seen pictures and I have been wanting to go there for a little while now. I also am planning on going to Paris at the end of this summer with my stepmom to visit my friends. All I can say is that, I fell in love with traveling and I will not settle until I can say I visited the whole world. Traveling open my eyes and taught me how to not be selfish and to be more appreciative of the life I live. I definitely want to be able to share my experiences with my kids and I hope to one day provide them with the same opportunities my dad provided me. Religion has always played an important role in my life but I feel like lately I have been losing focus and I am not as close to God as I wish to be. Throughout my life, God has always been my foundation and never gave up on me. This summer, I will start going to church again and get involved in the youth club camp. Although, I pray everyday, I just feel like the connection is not there and I plan on changing that. As time went by, my interest in the medical field just started growing exponentially. I love helping others and making a difference in the world because I think the world needs people who are more caring. I always knew I wanted to be a doctor, but I decided to be a pediatrician and that I wanted to specifically work with kids when I was 12 years old. When my neighbor was pregnant she was told that her baby had minimum chances of surviving after labor and that her pregnancy would be risky, and then when her baby was born, he was born with birth defects, but most importantly: alive. I just thought it was very interesting and how it was a blessing that her baby was born alive. I admired how the doctors made sure her baby and her were safe until the very last minute. And up to this day, her baby that is now 6 years old is well and healthy. I think that is one of the reasons I want to work with kids, I personally love children and I want to help them because they are so little and fragile and they need people to look out for them. As I join medical school, I want to make use of my time and research many diseases and get involved as much as I can. I was in a very dark place a few years ago and I regret many things. I am constantly getting better and pushing myself to do better, 2019 was a good year for me mentally and emotionally and I would like to keep it that way. As I finish off high school, I plan on going out more, meeting new people and becoming more social. I also would like to help people who struggle with any kind of mental disorder and help them get better as I did. I want to be there for people who have no one to talk to and who think they have to go through it alone because I wish someone did that for me a couple of years back. I also plan on taking time off for myself, relax, take my mind off things and meditate more often to keep me away from all the stress life might bring me. I wish I could meditate more often because it helps me keep myself together and have a better outlook in life and make me realize that I have so many amazing things to be grateful for, and so many things I would like to experience. I just plan on becoming more appreciative in general and not get too caught up between the stress of school and work. I just want to enjoy life to the fullest and not care about anything else but myself. It is sad to think we are parting ways after high school and we will not be able to see each other every morning like we used to. We are always having fun and spending time together and our bond is so strong that we consider each other family and I hope it stays that way. Throughout high school, I had many friendship that did not have my best interest. My senior year I got closer to some people that I regret not getting close earlier. Although, we get into some arguments because some are more sensitive than others, we always bounce back and find a way to fix our issues. If we do not fix the issue right away, we will not talk to each other for like two or three business days, but it always work out in the end. The love and care we have for one another is what binds us together and I strongly believe our friendship will last a life time because we are like sisters. I am beyond thankful for the sacrifices my dad does for me and my siblings that it cannot be expressed with words. He is the most hard working man I have ever met and he will forever be my best friend and from the bottom of my heart, I wish he could last forever. My siblings are the most annoying little demons I have ever met, but deep down I know they care for me and wish me the best even when we fight and throw things at each other. One thing that I wish could happen and it does not necessarily need to happen this year is that I can find my mom and communicate with her for once in years and genuinely have a conversation with her, not as mom and daughter but at least person to person. I am tired of holding grudges towards my mom because at the end of the day it does not benefit me in any way, shape or form.Everyone is constantly changing and I want to give her the benefit of the doubt when I am ready.
