<title>I collaborated with a teacher to try something new and she was excited because the students enjoyed the activity. It was something she didn&#39;t need to be an expert of and it also took me out of my comfort zone as I have not done that activity with multiple classes.</title>

<title>I did not have someone come in and observe me implement and SOS strategy, but I another English teacher talked to me about strategies, saying he thought they seemed &quot;elementary.&quot; I explained that while at first glance they may seem elementary simple, it is the material they are used with that brings them to grade level. I proceeded to give him additional strategies besides the first three he requested from me.</title>

<title>We (PHS STEM team) presented the Discovery Ed program and SOS strategies as a team to the staff at Parker. I then individually met with my PLCs to talk about strategies that I have used in my classroom. The PLC members then went and tried their own strategies and we came back and talked about what worked and what didn&#39;t. </title>

<title>My first follower has observed several times since last year. She has tried several strategies with varying levels of classes. I approached her and asked her if she would be interested in going through the formal coaching process with an ALC. She is concerned about time commitment as she is teaching another new class next semester and starting her grad program.</title>

<title>We have had opportunities to present to the whole staff. I have also presented to my PLC and have modeled strategies in our meetings as well as helped PLC members select SOS strategies to use in their classrooms. As a PLC we have reflected on the specific strategies and how we could alter them for future use. </title>

<title>In our department, most teachers are using SOS strategies at least once a week, due to Math Techbook. So we have all been going in to observe each other, and then discuss during PLC team meetings.</title>
