After gathering data, we concluded that the placebo, olive oil, was more successful and relief the pain and stress of headaches. On average, the olive oil reduced the pain of headaches from 10 to 2. While essential oils on average only dropped precipitously headache pain from 10 to 5. Essential oils also decreased the pain levels of headaches but just wasn’t as great of a decrease as the placebo. They worked 6 days a week for 9 straight weeks conducting research. Each day consisted of 3 hours work. Also, our 20 subjects were each paid an up front paycheck of 25 dollars each. After all the finances the experiment was proven expensive but it was necessary in order to learn the true effects of essential oils.

When it came to relieving headaches, simple olive oil was more effectiveness than essential oils. The data was published publically. As a result of this data, sales of essential oils began to drop as people realized it was simply just a scam. More negative reviews of essential oils were created ultimately making them bankrupt.
