Jordan & Israel are having a boundary dispute over the valley of The Arava. The Arava is an arid strip of land that lies between the Dead Sea and the Gulf of Elat. Jordan demands an area of about 320 sq km in The Arava valley. Israel has continually pushed eastwards over a peroid of years. The strip of land was taken by Israel for security reasons, because of the need for a large buffer zone from Jewish settlements.

lacks control on the outer lengths of it's country.

The flag is based on the Arab revolt against the Ottoman Empire. The seven pointed star stands for the seven verses of the first surah in the Qur'an. This also stands for the unity of the Arab peoples.

Jordan is a constitutional monarchy & unitary government. There are currently no governmental tensions. Within Jordan there are no signs of Devolution nor do I think so in the future.
