  • Patient, family member and physician has to give consent on choice of assisted suicide
  • Patients should have the dignity to choose where and when the death occurs
  • Patients have to go through test to prove that there is no cure for their pain and suffering
  • Their parents can't be the ones who consent for their kid
  • The person must be able to give full consent
  • Just having a mental or physical disability is not grounds for assisted suicide
  • Must have a illness or disease that will never go away or be cured. Must also be a never ending pain. 
  • Applicants are not eligible if they have been coerced or pressured in any way to make this decision
  • An applicant that has not met the standard for assisted suicide be then accepted because of suicidal wants (Depression Schizophrenia) 
  • You must be 19 to apply for assisted suicide

  1. The patient must be suffering from a condition that causes their condition of life to be lesser due to suffering or intolerable pain
  2. The patient must go through a waiting period in which they meet with a qualified psychiatrist who assesses their condition and must sign off on the procedure
  3. The patient must receive confirmation from their usual care doctor and, if under 18, a family member
  4. The procedure must be done by a registered doctor who has been trained in the field and should receive a license
