We had more time to think about the storyline

On the week 2 of rehearsals my group decided to do many run through of the scenes we created and developed the transitions from scene to scene. On monday my group decided to do a run through the scenes we already created to make sure everyone knew their lines and was confident to perform the scenes. On mondays rehearsals my group decided to polish the fight scene and the bed room scene. We polished the fight scene turning it into a dance off between Megatron and the BFG. In the bedroom scene we decided to delete the transition movements which were the giants standing in a line and doing movements at the same pace and accurately. On tuesday my group set a target which were to find out what scenes comes after and before the fight scene. In this rehearsal we created the scene when Megatron confronted Ovo and Blood Blotter because they did not find sophie. The skills we used to created this scene wad status , levels and chorus. Status and level because in this scene megatron over powers the giants, we used levels when megatron got really angry at them so they are so scared of her that they fell on the floor. On wednesday we polished and blocked this scene and practised the jungle scene where sophie tries to survive in the jungle with tigers and giants trying to eat her. In this scene I used my characterisation skill to play a animal so I changed my body language into all fours and made evil facial expressions. On thursday my group didn’t do much because some people was going through things and wasn’t giving 100% in which made the whole group not many things and some people missed lessons.

The feedback I received in this week was to be careful with the accent when I’m trying to pronounce words and keep my body language consistent throughout the performance.
