This theory focuses on students interacting with one another in the learning environment. Students can use verbal and non verbal cues to better communicate with their peers. In the classroom, the teacher presents the lesson as an opportunity to interact and us different communication skills (reading, speaking, writing, nonverbal, and listening). This can be done with group work or peer collaboration or peer review for small tasks, giving the students the ability to apply these skills to the activities they do in the learning environment.
