There's lots of brands. When we use them we often break them at least in half for ease of use. You'll want a blending cloth or old rag of some kind to smooth the edges and color of the pastels

These Crayola markers have a bullet tip. They can be held to make a thin line or a broad one.

Mr Sketch (scented or unscented have Chisel tip) are water-color (washable) and are our favourite. Either brand will work and you'll discover your own preference.

Tape, markers, thin water-color (washable) markers, Crayola pictured here, ball pint pens. Container for loose pastels (sitting inside the box) is a small plastic container (for which I've lost a lid, so is re-purposed here).

Mural Paper or Flip Chart paper (or acquire large Sketch Notebook for Doodles/Imagery and Journaling)

Mural paper for the wall comes @90 cm (3ft) long or 120cm (4 ft) lengths. For a PATH (or MAP) allow @ 10 ft (300 cm) per plan. Mural paper should be @30 pound weight. This can be hard to find. We think a double layer of @18 pound paper should work OK, if that's what you can find.

If you are working at a desk or on your lap~ pictured here are boards for desk or lap. You can make your own from 'foam core' sheet or 'plasti-core' (found at an art supply store). We found a particle board somewhere in our house and it's about 24 in. by 18 in (61 x 46 cm) and we cut paper to fit. Post it note paper or Flip Chart paper can work for this practice. Staples or Office Max or an art supply store will have mural paper, flip chart paper or large Sketch Note Journals.
