I loved the group seating (that changes every unit), interactive nature that necessitates conversation, and the opportunity to discuss difficult concepts as they tie into religion, society, and culture. Some students were dissecting and some students were observing.


Collaboration—students sat in groups of 4 and worked as a team on the dissection process. Some groups were "all hands on deck" for the dissection process and interacting with the strategy for cutting and other groups had 1 or 2 people taking the lead with others observing or answering questions on the "Mammalian Heart Dissection" worksheet.
