When we play board games, it also helps us to be engaged and use our time better instead of just playing with our devices. If you play some games that needs thinking, you can get smarter and think faster. To me, it's important that we play board games once in a while because we need to bond and strengthen relationships with our loved ones.

Around 7 hours is too much , damaging their eyesights . 1) The main concerns about a child having too much screen time is about eyesight. Their eyesight might worsen and lack of sleep as they get too attached to the device and does not want to sleep. 2) For me , an appropriate screen time is around 1-3 hours , to keep the child entertained and has a daily schedule of all the fun things to do. If they get too attached , i think they should try other fun things to play. 3) A strategy to stop the child from not getting to attached is to have a limited time for them and let them take a walk around the park sometimes or maybe jog. 4) But however , even if the child wants to watch something on the device , parents must be prepared if they throw tantrums when they arent allowed to use a device. 5) One hour of screentime before bed should not be good as it damages the eyes more , so maybe the child can read some books before sleeping.

they have a bad eyesight and not able to see things properly as they kept on looking at the phone at home. I felt that not only looking to much phone at home. There are also other things that make the children have bad eyesight too. The examples are: While lying in the bed they also look at their books too that also makes them have a bad eyesight. Not only this will have bad eyesight, there is left one more left to say about this. For example, you are sitting on a chair in front of you is the table and your homework. While you are doing your homework, your head when closer to the paper and you will felt that you kind of like cannot see what you are writing on the paper that is the last thing that make the children have bad eyesight too.

I think the appropriate screen time looking can at least 1-3 hours on the phone but after the time is over we must stop looking at the phone immediately at not continue looking on the phone. If the children really would not stop looking at the phone we can play games so that they will never stick tot ye phone and look at it. I think looking at the phone also can at least 1-2 hours on the phone so that you can rest your eyes. So , after looking at your phone you felt a bit tired, you can rest by listening to music or reading a story book you like at your house that makes you felt that your eyes would feel tired and start working.

They can play traditional games, snake and ladders, tic tac toes and other games too. They can play with their family when they are bored, because when they are small the parents must do some kind of educational games when their children are small. They must learn how to manage their so that when they grow up they know how to manage their time perfectly so that they will feel comfortable at home.

1) If we use too much screen time we may face different consequences and symptoms of too much screen time. This could lead to the following below:

Lack of exercise.

Sleep disturbances.

Lower energy levels.

Poor performance in school.

Poor quality sleep.

Strained eyes.

Stress or anxiety.

2) The appropriate screen time I think would be is 1h30mins, Because this give us time to do our revision and so we would not get to addicted so that we would not use our screen time longer than what we are suppose to.

3) Other strategies that can help us manage our screen time better may include the following below:

Avoid using your own electronic devices excessively.

Engage in activities like reading, singing, puzzles and story time.

Encourage outdoor activities like bike rides, walking, and outdoor play.

Have a set time each day for TV, computer or tablet time, so you knows when you can use them

Impose a cut-off for all electronics one hour before bed time.

Keep electronics out of sight.

Organize social activities like play dates.

You can also try the 20 20 20 method to help with your screen times. Here is how you do it, the first 20 stands for you use your screen time for 20 mins. The second 20 stands for you stop looking at your screen time after 20 mins and find something 20 meters away from you. The third 20 stands for you look at the “something” that you found for 20 seconds.

1.)Young children, particularly in their early developmental years, are naturally curious, highly observant, and eager to explore the world around them. Their cognitive, emotional, and social growth is rapid, and they often learn through sensory experiences and imitation. They tend to be energetic, expressive, and imaginative, using play as a way to communicate, build relationships, and make sense of new concepts.
2.)Learning in young children is most effective when it is hands-on, interactive, and embedded in meaningful experiences. They learn best through play, exploration, storytelling, songs, and social interactions. Rather than formal instruction, young children absorb knowledge through observation, trial and error, and by engaging with adults and peers in guided but flexible environments.
3.)Games play a vital role in helping young children develop essential life skills. Through games, they learn problem-solving, teamwork, emotional regulation, and motor coordination. Board games like "Memory" or "Snakes and Ladders" promote concentration and sequencing, while imaginative role-play fosters creativity and empathy. Physical games like “Simon Says” enhance listening skills and body control, while digital learning games can help with numeracy and literacy in moderation.

We can be overly stimulate before bed time and may not sleep well it can also affect our school work.

2) I think that 1-2 hour is enough. This gives us enough time for online video and games, and also time for my family, offline playtime and homework or revision.

3) We can plan up a schedule to remind ourselves, for example, strictly no online games for weekdays.

1) Some characteristics of young children would be energetic\hyper-active, curious mindset, creative mindset, playful personality and educational being.

2) How young children learn can be when someone or something(e.g. educational websites or videos) teaches them new skills or learning. They can also learn from good actions or learn from their wrongdoing. Some children want to learn with fun that is why some teachers assign Activities for them. Young children can also learn from playing games only if the games are educational, educational games consist of the following below :

Broad games

Puzzle games

Card games

Mind-thinking games

These kinds of games will help young children improve in their interactive thinking and thinking skills.

3) Playing educational games can help young children develop different life skills, social skills, the basics of different educational subjects like mathematics, English, mother togue and more. Playing outdoor games may also be good for the young children as it will develop better athletics for young children and help with their Physical Education. Playing outdoor games can also help young children feel happy and excited and can also help with their daily health and make them more active and stop them from lazing around.

1) The main concerns about excessive screen time are harmful to children's eyes, get addicted to excessive screen time, forget about their homework and sometime lack of sleep. When you have lack of sleep you won't be able to keep up in studies, then their grades will drop quickly. 2) 1hr 30mins (ONLY ON WEEKENDS). I think is an appropriate screen time because when they keep up this habit, they will learn how to manage their screen time properly and have time to do their homeworks and studies. Then they will be able to keep up with their grades. 3)They should stick to a specific screen time.

They should have the same amount of screen time as study time.

1) The characteristics of young children are easy to understand. They like things that are fun for them, easy to understand and if they don't get what they want they either cry or cause trauma until they get what they want.

2) Young children can learn by interactive YouTube videos for a limited time as if young children watch way too long, their eyes may get hurt in a result of being blind. Another suggestion is spelling games; it helps children learn how to spell in a fun way and the most popular learning game is snakes and ladders, snake and ladders is a mathematics game where you have to roll 1 dice and whatever number u get is the number of steps you must move forward.

3) Benefits of the different type of game that are suitable for kids are chess as it can help young children think 3 steps ahead to win and find out different possibilities with different moves, this concept can be brought to life, example, when you are about to do something, you must first think (" if i do this and this , this will happen .But if i do this and this, this will happen") . Chess can be really super helpful if you bring this concept to life.

1) Usually , the characteristics of a young child is playful and creative , but , some other children are intelligent and shy . Some might have difficulties managing their strong emotions too. 2) Young children often learn from the fun of the things in the subject they are learning. and in kindergarten , they also often have a balance of fun and learning , making all children look forward to go to school and entertained during school. 2) Benefits of playing game are to teach them in educational games , you still can have fun and that encourages them to learn and understand in somethings you might not win. I think a type of game that are suitable for kids are some easy educational games and maybe boardgames like monopoly.

1.)Excessive screen time has become a growing concern in today's digital world, affecting people of all ages. Too much time spent on devices can lead to physical issues such as eye strain, headaches, and poor posture, as well as psychological effects including sleep disturbances, reduced attention span, and even increased anxiety or depression. For children and adolescents especially, constant screen exposure may impact brain development and hinder social skills, creating dependency and making it harder to engage in offline activities.
2.)Determining appropriate screen time varies depending on age, lifestyle, and needs. For example, health experts generally recommend no more than 1–2 hours per day of recreational screen time for children, while adults may have greater flexibility if their work requires digital tools. Balance is key: ensuring that screen use doesn’t displace essential activities like sleep, exercise, face-to-face interaction, and hands-on learning.

3.)Fortunately, there are plenty of strategies to manage screen time in a healthier way. Setting device-free zones at home—such as bedrooms or dining areas—can encourage presence and conversation. Establishing screen time schedules or using app timers helps track and limit usage. For kids, co-viewing content with parents or engaging in digital activities together can foster learning and reduce isolation. Adults can benefit from regular tech breaks, mindful usage, and hobbies that pull them away from screens.

Excessive screen time poses concerns for both physical and mental health, impacting sleep, social skills, cognitive development, and potentially leading to obesity, eye strain, and behavioral issues. It can also negatively affect emotional regulation, increase anxiety and depression, and potentially hinder social and emotional development in children.

The appropriate amount of screen time varies by age and individual needs, but generally, less is better, especially for children. For adults, limiting recreational screen time to 2-4 hours daily is a good guideline, alongside work-related screen time. Children, particularly those under 18 months, should have no passive screen time, and even older children should have their screen time limited and monitored.

To better manage screen time, individuals can implement several strategies such as setting time limits, creating screen-free zones, and replacing screen time with alternative activities. Tracking usage, turning off notifications, and using tools like grayscale mode can also help reduce reliance on screens. Additionally, promoting mindful usage, engaging in offline activities, and involving the family in these efforts can be beneficial.

These are some common things that kids get if they use too much screen time.

2.)I think about 2 hours may be enough. As they use too much, they won't really go play outside, and may even not spend time with their family members. They would also not be bothered to do ANYTHING.

3.)Some strategies may be getting them to play a board game, walk around a garden or park, read some picture books and so on. If it does not work, the only way is to add some parent control system in the devises that will time time and will lock their devises. To unlock them, their parents just simply set up a password and type it in.

TAHNK YOU FOR READING MY ARTICLE!
