The main events were:

-They got sent to camp

-They built a baseball field

-They won the last game they had played in the camp

-The got back home,but no one talked to anyone who got sent to the camp

-They still got to play baseball!

But when they played at home and missed,people yelled 'jap'
-In the end they got a home run!

something that happen was that at the befgging of the story they tried to move to america but shortly after the had mto move.i feel like it was not fair becausse some people wants to have a fresh start and people asome that they just wanna start troble.when sometimes people need to give others a chance also the main events where they got sent to camp and the made a base ball field

When Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, the Americans thought they couldn't trust Japanese people anymore. So, they took 7,000 Japanese Americans and put them in concentration camps. The camps were unsanitary, people got sick a lot, and it took away the joy they once had. To fix this problem, people built a baseball field and it was a big hit! But the Americans still hated the Japanese people. When the main character went to play baseball in front of the Americans, they thought he wouldn't get a point since he already had 2 misses, so they discouraged him. But in the end, he was able to hit a home run and his team mates cheered him on!

Some events were when they got sent to camp because a war was on with Japan and america

Another was they built a baseball field by camp to have fun and something they can do during the hard times.

the main character won the championship for baseball at camp and has fun.

When they got home they still played baseball and had fun even the team had fun of calling him shorty and smiling as saying it in a good and funny way.

when the first game and the main character was up to bat the crowd watching yelled "JAP" as a mean and racist way off saying he was bad.

At the end they still had fun while the main character hit a home run!

when the parents help make the baseball field and they going to the camp , they going home , him get a home run

the boy got his first home run
some people did not get back their house
some people was still mean to the boy
they only got 25 Dollers after they left the camp
his team chance for him so they can win.

They got sent to camp because they got kicked out of their own house. they decided to make their very own baseball field him and his family got bullied at the camp they also won the last game nobody talked to him at school then they kept calling him short then at the final round he won

They hit the ball over the field but then they were at to baseball camp

what had happend in the begging was that the little boy was not that good at base ball and lots of kids liked to disrespect him and liked to say raised this back to him. most times he thinks that he never should have come here. in the middle he starts to parctes more baseball learning more things. now he is much better at it. in the end he had got an nice home run for his whole team.
