reflections on the significant number of teachers who did not feel confident with their use of Irish. Confidence a bigger issue than competence in many cases with some teachers falling back on using text books. important to voice the message in schools that there are varying levels of confidence and competence among teachers and continue to ask the question 'How can we support you in your teaching?'
Discussion about the expectations and judgement that teachers feel from peers. Creating a more non-judgemental environment for teachers that mistakes are ok.

Students' Attitudes:
"Students generally negative to it... Gaeilge always features as a difficulty in Primary School post 3rd Class. They are happy to get involved, but they find it really really hard"
