Qualitative was chosen because the question used "relationship" so this helps provide a better understanding of general trends. Using the ABS calculator we decided on asking 385 students. The surveys would ask for their screentime and an anxiety scale to assess mental health. Study design is observational: With time and cost measures, it isn’t feasible to run a long term study on the effects, better to just isolate the time spent on social media vs mental health evaluation
