Briggs interviews King’s cousin, Dorothy Moore. Moore says that King was with her on the day of the murder. However, Petrocelli’s cross-examination proves that she is lying. Briggs also interviews George Nipping, who says that King is left-handed. Briggs wants to connect King and Steve because Steve looks like a decent guy, but O’Brien tries to find a way to separate Steve from him. O’Brien plays a game of up and down with a cup with Steve to prepare him for the prosecutor’s questions and to answer them in a way to make him look innocent. Steve took the stand to prove his innocence. He said that he wasn’t in the store, he wasn’t the lookout and that he was taking notes for a school project. Briggs, O’Brien and Petrocelli make a summation. The judge made a verdict of guilty for Steve Harmon. After this, Steve got another verdict. But this time, it was a good news: King had been found guilty and got handcuffed, and Steve had been found not guilty.
