Animals: Lynx are fairly common in the taiga. They are carnivorous mammals. These cat like animals have thick fur that keeps them warm in the cold taiga weather. The Siberian tiger are a native species to the taiga. These tigers are also carnivorous mammals. They hunt moose and wild boars. Moose are herbivorous mammals.  These mammals have extremely large antlers and are said to be the largest species of deer.
