Ren Yan and Jason looks on excitedly as they feather on some powder to reveal an "incriminating" thumbprint on the glass beaker in their Crime Scene Investigation SD module. "It certainly make me understand better how the police detectives or forensics track criminals through the uniqueness of a person's fingerprints! This is exciting!" Jason shared with us afterwards.

Some of our peers take their mastery of language a step further in learning basic conversational Thai in one of our SD modules, too! Ruwaiz (shown here in this picture) finds good use in his learning of another language, "I can definitely use some of these words to communicate with someone, especially since our school receives visitors from our partner schools in Loei, Thailand, and other countries. I think it will be impressive if I could speak a llittle Thai to our visitors to show them that we are eager to learn about them, their language and their culture too! Furthermore, learning basic Thai would also help when I go on a holiday in Bangkok at the end of the year with my family!"

Konnichiwa (こんにちは or in kanji 今日は) is a Japanese greeting, typically a mid-day greeting. It is also used as an informal greeting, "hello". Shi Yi takes her first step in learning the Japanese language in the Junior Ambassador to Japan SD Module in the Humanities Studio. The dynamic learning space in the Humanities Studio also makes it fun to learn. "I love sitting on this beanbags! And I am so keen to learn about the Japanese culture, so I am enjoying this module a lot!" she beamed as she describes her experience.
