They found that a significant amount of time in an environment similar to mars correlated with shrinking in the hippocampus, which could potentially have negative impacts on the memory of people who colonize mars. They also found that it damaged brain plasticity, meaning that the brain is less likely to be able to adapt to the mars environment.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
