         <description><![CDATA[<div>Digger, Darcy and Stevie like poetry and that was spread around the school. They had to read it aloud in class.          <title>15th April Saturday, Footy Starts! (SG)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The footy was on and Collingwood played Geelong. Geelong won. Digger started reading Lawson and Paterson and dreamt about rivers, the sea and the bush. He was wondering why they never mentioned blackfellas in there stories and poems.<br><br><strong>Quote:</strong>&nbsp;"But I was wondering how come they never mention blackfellas in their poems and stories."<br><br><strong>Comment:</strong>&nbsp;Aboriginals seem to be missing in some Australian history.</div>]]></description>

         <title>25th April Tuesday, Anzac Day Dawn Service (SG)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Digger and his family all went to the dawn service. Diggers dad held up Paulie's medals. One of the soldiers came up to them and told them that he was one of Paulie's mates and that he was a real hero. Digger was thinking about&nbsp; all the poems that he had read and thinking of writing his own, but he decided to wait till later on. when they got home Digger tried on one of Paulie's old shirts, his Mum saw him wearing it and started to cry and hugged Digger "Oh, digger," she said, Digger felt like it was the saddest moment he had ever experienced.<br><br><strong>Quote:</strong>&nbsp;"I was one of paulie's mates, he was a real hero.<br><br><strong>&nbsp;Comment:</strong>&nbsp;Diggers mum<strong>&nbsp;</strong>really misses Paulie.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Digger and Darce are finding some poems for Stevie&nbsp; in the library but then Cheryl gives the nod both boys looked at each other and then went straight for the sheds. when they got to the sheds Sue asked why they were holding lots of poems. then they ask them to read one they both look at each other and Digger steps back and lives his mate&nbsp; to it. finally Darce finishes the poem. then they start fishlicking again. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>
