The term Reading seems easy to understand; however, for linguistics this term is strange because it is less natural than many of other things they have discussed.

There are some languages in the world that do not have a writing system.

If a language does not have writing system, it will have analphabetic people.

People learn to write and read because they have learnt it from the people who sorround them.

We already mentioned that some writing systems share similar characteristics. On the other hand, we can mention that writing systems can be written in different position for example: from right to left or from bottom to top. However, it is not difficult for the brain interprets because it seems that the brain put the symbols for writing or reading in the same part of the brain. It is due to the reading and writing learning is an humans' innate capacity.
