After years of fighting and many people dying the war is finally over between the Americans and the British. The Americans got independence so now the the British can not capture any Americans and can not own any land in america. America and Britain has finally agreed to end the war that has been going on for 8 years. There are still some unresolved problems such as they still need to pa what they own, give colonist their land and home back, and america still needs to create some laws in order to keep the citizens in check.

We were waiting in a little room for the British people to come and sign the contract called the Treaty of Paris. We are so happy that America is finally get what they deserve, Independence. After a long time of waiting we decided to sign the contract. We already let Britain know about the contract, we probably just have to make them sign it. Once we got back home there were hundreds of people cheering and yelling about being independent. Many people came up to use and told us how happy they were. we now call this day independence day to celebrate Americas independence.

´Tis done. We have become a nation.

- Benjamin Rush

FINALLY, America is independent. My name is Bob (short for Bobby) and I am a shop owner. I sell food and ingredients. One of the new laws that was created is being able to change the taxes on my products, I can make the taxes really high if I wanted to but not as many people would be able to afford it causing me to not make as much income, so have to make sure the taxes are a reasonable price in order for people to buy it. Over all I am till thrilled to know that we do not need to worry about Britain taking our land and that America is independent.

We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.”

- Benjamin Franklin
