Few months ago, I studied a business english class. In that class, I had to work in group and solved some simple business case study. During that process, I realized that my homeland's education is a bit theoretically focus. So, I was searching for a more suitable environment where I can give my best performance. And at the time I was struggling because if I wanted to study aboard, I would create a financial burden to my parents. After deciding with my parents carefully, I decided to apply for IBEB programme of Erasmus university. Erasmus is one of the university in the Netherland that provides the best IBEB programme, so I might have more career opportunities after graduating and also have a good salary. If I directly study there, I might not catch up with other fellows because I have never studied in English before and the method is also different from what I have ever done and I will have shocked culture which impacts on my study. Therefore, I applied to study at Holland ISC to equip academic knowledge and skills I need for my degree and prepare good mental to become the best freshman I can. When my application was accepted, I felt extremely excited and just wanting to fly to Holland right away!. I think I could have talked to my dad more about my decision instead of financial problem to make him understand that I have a clear gold and I know what I need to do to achieve that and maybe we could have understood together more.
