I am Nicoletta, I am a teacher in a Primary School in the north of Italy, near Piacenza. I teach Italian and English to young children, I have 6-years-old kids in my classes. I usually teach English to younger children, too, in a Nursery School and this is a fantastic experience, as you have to play, sing and mime, jump and dance with them. Wonderful but exhausting, when you are not in your thirties/forties anymore. ferri_nico61 https://padlet.com/ferri_nico61/Bookmarks/wish/92132595 2016-01-30 21:23:01 UTC https://padlet.com/ferri_nico61/Bookmarks/wish/92132595 I used to teach English as a specialized teacher, so I used to meet children from 6 to 11 years old, but I still have a very little experience with the CLIL methodology, though I always tried to arise the kids’ curiosity, especially in the higher classes, with small projects in English. I think that developing simple topics which the kids already know or are closely linked to their daily life helps them use the language in a real context and makes them look for new functions to communicate what they want to say. A few years ago I had to move to two “common” classes and now English is only 2 hours a week. What a pity! It was a very demanding week. Apart from the material to watch and read, I found quite difficult to share my work in Wiki. I am not so able with new technologies, I didn't know any of the suggested webtools but I found some of them useful and even easy to use. I liked Popplet very much and made a plan with numbers for the 1st class of the Primary school.
