Elsa and Anna are adjusting to their new normal after their parents death. It was a beautiful summer in Arendelle and everyone was preparing the castle for Elsa's coronation. Anna is enjoying her life outside of the gates, where she meets a man named Hans and they fall in love. After the coronation there is a big party and Anna gets to reconnect with her sister. The movie starts with Anna and Elsa living their normal lives in their castle. Everything is going great and they are getting ready for a big celebration.

Anna asks for permission to get married to Hans, but her and Elsa get into an argument. Elsa then gets mad and shows her ice powers. As she is overwhelmed and scared she runs away from Arendelle, covering the entire village in snow and ice. This shows the call because Anna is presented with a challenge after she makes her sister mad and realizes she needs to find a way to fix the problem.

After Elsa leaves Anna get the supplies needed for the village and leaves prince Hans in charge while she goes to find her sister. Her and her horse set off into the cold, but her horse gets scared and runs away. As Anna is traveling through the cold mountains her dress freezes. She is out of hope until she sees one thing, fire. Here, the story takes off and Anna sets out on her adventure. She is determined to find her sister.

She finds a small shop and meets a man named Kristoff who decides to help her on the journey. He has a sleigh and a reindeer that they will travel in. Kristoff is the assistance because he will help Anna travel up the mountain and he provides with his sleigh and reindeer.

As they get a little further into the journey, they walk through an ice crystal forest and Anna and Kristoff meet Olaf the snowman. Olaf is an ally to them and he decides to help them find Elsa. He is a character that adds comedy to the movie. They meet their first ally, Olaf, and after meeting him they get more confident to complete their journey.

Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven reach Elsa's ice castle that she built. Anna leaves the boys as she goes in to convince Elsa to come back to Arendelle. Elsa is explaining that she doesn't want to hurt anyone and is not coming back. In the heat of the conversation Elsa accidentally hits Anna in the heart with her ice. A new challenge comes and Anna needs to figure out how to fix it, so that she can come back and solve the bigger issue.

Kristoff carries Anna as Sven takes them back to Arendelle. Anna finds Hans but reveals that he actually doesn't love her and just wanted power. He put the fire out and locked Anna in the room to freeze to death. Olaf finds Anna and helps her get out of the castle. Meanwhile Elsa was captured and put in prison, she eventually escapes and out on the water. Anna is approaching the location where there will be real danger and the biggest challenge will come up.

As Elsa is wandering around Hans finds her and wants to put an end to her life to protect Arendelle and take over the castle. Just as he goes to pull out the sword, Anna jumps in front of Elsa. She turns to ice and breaks the sword, repelling Hans across the ice. Elsa looks up to find her sister frozen trying to save her. This is Anna most challenging task and she is face to face with the enemy. She must complete the test to save her sister.

Elsa creates a giant snow monster that forces them out of the ice castle. Kristoff takes Anna and Olaf to his family, the love experts. Anna's heart gets worse and Grand Pabbie tells her the only thing that can thaw a frozen heart is an act of true love. They set off to go find Hans. This is part of the trials because Kristoff and Anna meet the trolls who are new allies that teach them an important lesson to bring them closer to their goal.

Elsa bursts into tears as she hugs her frozen sister. But to her surprise Anna starts to unfreeze as an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart. The treasure is that Anna unfreezes and Elsa learns about how true love can thaw the frozen heart.

That's when Elsa realizes how to save the kingdom, love. She starts to unfreeze the kingdom and snow and ice rise into the air, forming a beautiful snowflake. This is the result because Anna and Elsa are both transformed from this experience by learning how important love is in family.

NEW LIFE / RESOLUTION

Now that Arendelle is unfrozen Elsa has gone back to being queen and the castle doors are always open. Elsa has learned how to control her powers and is always making Arendelle fun. Anna and Elsa have restored their friendship and Kristoff and Anna even begin a relationship. The characters go back to living their normal lives and they brought back to the treasure of love and unfreezing the kingdom. The whole kingdom is united now.
