         <description><![CDATA[<p>Mary Shelley's mother, Mary Wollstonecraft, died on September 10th, 1797.</p><p>Mary Wollstonecraft died 11 days after her Mary Shelley was born.</p><p>Mary Wollstonecraft was one of the most well known writers of her time as an early feminist. She hoped to change people's views on women, allowing women to gain improved educations so women weren't forced to depend on men.</p><p><br/></p><p>"Mary had no memory of her mother, who had died on Spetmber 10, 1797, weleven days after Mary was born."
