They also have many different colors of fur. This helps them to blend into their surroundings. The colors can be brown, gray, tan, and cream. They dig burrows themselves and cannot get dirt in their pouch. This adaptation is called a hiney faced pouch and helps them to not get the dirt in their pouch.

Some of the facts I learned were a little sad like how the Northern Hairy nosed wombat was endangered.
