Wombats have many physical adaptations to help them survive. One amazing adaptation Wombats have is large paws with five sharp dangerous claws that help them dig burrows. They also have many different colors of fur. This helps them to blend into their surroundings. The colors can be brown, gray, tan, and cream. They dig burrows themselves and cannot get dirt in their pouch. This adaptation is called a hiney faced pouch and helps them to not get the dirt in their pouch.

The wombat has many special abilities to help it survive. like how it will eat in the dark to stay safe and sound from predators. Another cool adaptation of a wombat is to have a burrow this keeps the predators away. For the last adaptation, on cold days it will go out of its burrow and sun bathe this keeps it warm.
