I can infer from item number 6 that there was trade between Temasek and China. There were exquisite green ware/celadon and there were beautiful designs and decorations. Green is considered the Colour of jade hence royalty thus I can conclude that there were some well off people in Temasek to have bought the green ware which is expensive. This I can infer that Temasek had economic connection with China.

I can infer that there were rulers in Temasek before 1819. This is evident on the White Qingbai pillow which was a symbol that of elegance and class. This tells me that there were people wealthy enough who were living in Temasek. As the pillow was found at Fort Canning Hill, the wealthy people could be the rulers of Temasek in that period of time.

This is evident as glass beads were found at Fort Canning when beads were not among the items traded in Singapore. It is seen in "It is possible that the glass shards may have been imported from China and the recycled by skilled craftsmen to produce such things as bangles or beads."

I can infer that there were some culture in the olden days and this thing is very rare and would most likely be the most ideal to have.this item ,although rare , is very priceless as it was made out of bronze and its the only lead statue in Southeast Asia. So it could be for royalty. For the culture, the statue is wearing a sarong around his waist and only certain countries wear such clothing so the fact that it is found in Temasek proves that there are some interaction between the people from different countries. Since he is riding on a horse, there is a dance in a few countries where dances rode on horses. Therefore I can conclude that Temasek had connections with the rest of the world. :D

I can infer that Singapore had connections with intelligent sailors. This is evident in the blue and white compass picture as they discovered a way to tell their direction by rubbing the point of a sewing needle with a lode stone and the needle has the ability to point south. This compass was usually used by sailors and these sailors were Chines because of the Chinese characters on the compass.

I can infer from item number six that the green ware/ celadon pieces are expensive. Green is the Colour of jade and hence royalty , high grade celadon was found in Fort Canning hill .Green ware was also very expensive because the best ones were made in China ,Long Quan in Zhejiang province found in the interior of china ,soon other nearby villages also produced similar items .

I can infer that there was a cultural connections between Java and Temasek. Three was also economic connections between China, Temasek and Java. This is evident in this source as the Gacuk was made out of pottery made in China and Temasek. This was also cultural connections as this might have been equipment for a popular Javanese game or gambling tool, and the equipment was found in Temasek. This tells me that the Javanese exchanged their culture with Temasek and therefore Temasek had the equipment with them. <3
