When thinking about the world around us and understanding it we often ask questions or use what we hear and see to comprehend. When taking a practice SHSAT test I didn't understand one of the last questions and I was very hard on myself for not understanding it. I used what I saw and tried my best. After the time was up and we reviewed the test I stated that I was confused for that specific question. With an open mind, my tutor broke down the question to the point where I understood it. In the passage (paragraph 2) it states "A lot of people are hard on themselves and others when there’s a lack of understanding" This quote relates to my scenario because I was hard on myself for not understanding until it was explained to me. In conclusion working through your confusion can be relieving and help you understand topics better.
