What do all living things need?

Now that we know the rules that determine whether something is living or not, what is needed to keep living things alive? Think about what we humans need to stay healthy. We need to eat, drink, eat, breathe air, and maintain our body's health every day. It is the same for all living things. One other factor that all living things need is a suitable habitat/environment, which can provide shelter and resources. The image above gives a visual of what all living things need to survive!

Using the image above, you will make two lists. In the first list, tell me what the living things are and how you know this. In the second list, tell me what is non-living and how you know this. Reflect on what we just learned to complete your turn!
