Now that we know the rules that determine whether something is living or not, what is needed to keep living things alive? Think about what we humans need to stay healthy. We need to eat, drink, eat, breathe air, and maintain our body's health every day. It is the same for all living things. One other factor that all living things need is a suitable habitat/environment, which can provide shelter and resources. The image above gives a visual of what all living things need to survive!
