Think about the ecosytem impacted by the consistent reduction of your endangered species' population. Be persuasive using the voice of your endangered species as your guide! Will you create a song, a rap, a video, a podcast, a poem, a chant, post on a discussion board, or even design a t-shirt that represents your position?

Focus IX: How do we develop a plan to attract community stakeholders to support wildlife conservation fundraisers? According to an old proverb, " A vision without a plan is just a dream." Your vision is more than a dream. You have a chance to turn your vision into a reality. Thus, your fundraiser should convey your message that each person has a role in saving endangered species on our planet. Let them know how that this is their chance to support the solutions to this problem through the use of technology. Don't forgot to target your message to your audience. Be clear, concise, and convincing by using the things that you have learned about this topic. Have an idea where your donations will be going, just to show that your fundraising is legitimate. Your audience wants to know that their contribution is going to a worthy cause. Keep in mind other creative ways for your audience to get involved too. Money is one way, but using their time in productive ways is another option in supporting your vision.

Focus X: How can we, as ecologists, use social media to build relationships with wildlife conservationists as a way to encourage them to help us to protect animal species locally or internationally? You have become an expert in knowing about animal endangerment, extinction, and conservation. Join forces with other online organizations to learn more about this issue, garner more support for your mission, and put your fundraising to good use. Think about safe ways to communicate with these organizations. Determine whether these organizations are legitimate. Get your parents and other adults involved before contacting any organization or individual. Remember never to send money until an adult has approved it first. Think of the name for your conversation team! Get involved through communication and participation! Most of all, learn how these organizations are using their voice as POWER to evoke change in a long term problem. What current laws which protect endangered species? How are these laws being enforced? What changes have occurred to reduce this problem? Remember to be the change that you desire to see in our world for you are part of the world's ecosystem too!
