Job Overview

International school of creative science is seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biological sciences, effective teaching methodologies, and a commitment to inspiring and engaging students. The teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a love for science.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging biology lesson plans in line with the curriculum.

• Deliver high-quality instruction using various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.

• Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students.

• Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to enhance practical learning.

• Assess and monitor student progress through tests, assignments, and projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Teaching certification/license (as required by state or country regulations).

• Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in a secondary or higher education setting.

• 3 years of teaching experience

• High lab management skills

- Strong communication and adaptability

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biological science.

• Master’s Degree and Research Degrees are preferable.

• 5 years of relevant teaching experience is compulsory.

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills are advantageous.

Essential Criteria:

1. Qualifications & Training

A degree in Biology or a closely related subject.

A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. A level cirtificate)

2. Experience

Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Biology at secondary school level (KS3-KS5).

Experience in preparing students for examinations and assessments, with a track record of good student outcomes.

3. Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in using technology to support teaching and learning.

Ability to assess and provide constructive feedback to students.

4. Personal Attributes

Passionate about Biology and education, with the ability to inspire students.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Adaptable, reflective, and open to feedback for professional growth.

Desirable Criteria:

1. Additional Qualifications & Training

A master's degree in Biology or Education.

Additional teaching certifications (e.g., SEN, EAL, or pastoral training).

2. Experience

Experience in mentoring or supporting early career teachers.

3. Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with educational research and evidence-based teaching methods.

Understanding of assessment strategies beyond formal exams (e.g., formative assessment).
