Make sure if you are asking a question it should be open to anyone. It should also have no simple answer.

- Something related to the discussion
- No disturbing people who are talking
- If you felt like you have talked more than 4 times , let others talk
- No arguing over other people
- give respect to people who have ideas and opinions . You don´t have to agree.
- If you don´t agree address it in a kind way because everyone has the right to speak and have an opinion.
- have a good posture
- show that you are part of the discusion
- Don´t be off task
- when you are talking have eye contact .

-When going to choose a topic to talk about, it would be good to choose a controversial and interesting topic that the students would be happy and comfortable to engage into and a topic that does´t have all one answer but a variety of answers.

- Make sure to focus on the person who is talking and understand what they are talking about

- When talking, have a strong, bold voice

-It is something you could relate to,. Ex: If i could make a change to the school, you could wear pajamas, wear hats, bring backpacks to all your classes, shortened schedule everyday, and Friday is only 3 hours, plus there'd be recess and game rooms.
- You can talk about anything school appropriate.
- In case you get into an argument where you can't find something in common, agree to disagree.
- You have to be kind and not interrupt the other person.

It should be a formal, inclusive, upfront, controlled environment, in which everyone is informed about the topic and understands what's going to be said, what to say, and when to add onto something. Something everyone has the chance to speak on, and something that everyone has the chance to grasp and share. Everyone should be respectful and aware.

*Be responsible to the group - have all materials ready and work completed. If you haven't done your background learning, you should not participate.
*Listen actively - make eye contact, lean in toward speaker, sit up so that you look interested, take notes when helpful
*Speak up
*Ask lead and follow-up questions.
*Connect your ideas with what others have said.
*Refer to materials prepared ahead of time.
*Share the air - invite people in who haven't said as much, show friendliness and support
Support your views and findings - instead of just saying what suddenly comes to mind, explain and give examples, refer to specific text/evidence/artifacts
