You can go to God All-Powerful for protection.
2 I say to the Lord, “You are my place of safety, my fortress.
My God, I trust in you.”
3 God will save you from hidden dangers
    and from deadly diseases.
4 You can go to him for protection.
He will cover you like a bird spreading its wings over its babies.
You can trust him to surround and protect you like a shield.
5 You will have nothing to fear at night
and no need to be afraid of enemy arrows during the day.
6 You will have no fear of diseases that come in the dark
or terrible suffering that comes at noon.
7 A thousand people may fall dead at your side
or ten thousand right beside you,
but nothing bad will happen to you!
8 All you will have to do is watch,
and you will see that the wicked are punished.
9 You trust in the Lord for protection.
You have made God Most High your place of safety.
10 So nothing bad will happen to you.
No diseases will come near your home.
11 He will command his angels to protect you wherever you go.
12 Their hands will catch you
so that you will not hit your foot on a rock.
13 You will have power to trample on lions
    and poisonous snakes.
14 The Lord says, “If someone trusts me, I will save them.
I will protect my followers who call to me for help.
15 When my followers call to me, I will answer them.
I will be with them when they are in trouble.
I will rescue them and honor them.
16 I will give my followers a long life
    and show them my power to save.”]]> 2020-03-18 12:23:53 UTC https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/464349072 O Lord Hear my Prayer prayerwallleeds https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/464375969 2020-03-18 12:44:59 UTC https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/464375969 https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/465054778 2020-03-18 19:27:06 UTC https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/465054778 National Call to Prayer prayerwallleeds https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/466441070 Light a candle of hope]]> 2020-03-19 15:04:54 UTC https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/466441070 Made me glad, Hillsong https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/466674204 https://youtu.be/GO1q71x9Dls]]> 2020-03-19 17:06:12 UTC https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/466674204 A Prayer from the President of Conference prayerwallleeds https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/467610723 2020-03-20 11:09:45 UTC https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/467610723 Perfect Love Casts out Fear prayerwallleeds https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/467768371 2020-03-20 13:12:31 UTC https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/467768371 https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/469555116 2020-03-22 11:32:41 UTC https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/469555116 Prayer for staff & patients https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/469672003 Please can we pray for
- medical staff at increased exposure of the virus who will be putting their own lives at risk
- the provision of adequate PPE (I think the reality at present is that there is a global shortage)
- for mental health services...for all those with mental health problems who are losing their usual support...we pray they will have God given strength and wisdom to get through this difficult time. I particularly pray that service users will be able to get hold of their medication and will have the wisdom to comply as prescribed to reduce the burden on services.

You know how hard it is for us to wait…... grant us patience, wisdom, hope. In this waiting time, keep us from growing weary of
waiting. In this waiting time, encourage us to keep our eyes,
ears, mind, and heart open for your presence in us,with us, and among us... calling us to continue to celebrate,to live with respect,to love and serve and to seek justice....And, to proclaim your love born anew, day by day... Amen

We pray as earnestly now for our NHS and key workers as we did four months ago: we do not go out on an evening to clap, but they are not forgotten. We prayer that, in September, as our children return to school, they and their teachers will stay safe and rejoice at being reunited, and we prayer that at Christmas, if things are still not 'normal', we will still be ready to see and to welcome Christ in our midst. https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/681269829 2020-08-15 05:44:07 UTC https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/681269829 Lord, we pray this week for children and young people returning to school and college this week, and for teachers and other school/college staff. https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/710868898 2020-09-01 05:18:41 UTC https://padlet.com/prayerwallleeds/noc0f8amsi5/wish/710868898 A prayer for September, the season of autumn, the season of new starts: may the God who changes everything be a constant rock and an unchanging guide for us all, whatever doubt or uncertainty we face in our lives at the moment.
