         <description><![CDATA[<div>We can observe really colourful roofs with undulating shapes and the use of the trencadis that was a technique invented by Gaudí, which is based in gorged ceramics. The roof is very expressive with many curves and there is a cross in the centre of the building which symbolized the Christian religion.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As we can observe the exterior of this building is composed of undulating balconies. It is inspired by natural forms, in this photograph is difficult to distinguish, but there are many leaves and flowers that decorate the windows and the wall. It was built with a variety of materials such us stone and glass that are functional and decorative. All the building is decorated with many colours that make this a modernist building.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A strong sense of optimism and faith in progress that produced an emphatic art that reflected the atmosphere of prosperity of the time, above all of the aesthetic of the bourgeoisie.</div><div>The salamanders are an icon in Cataluña and so Gaudí make his own perspective of them in the Güel Park. He sculpted them with his techniques such us the gorged ceramics using colourful pieces of materials.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Importance of these 5 buildings for Barcelona</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><div>These buildings are really important because most of them nowadays are icons of Cataluña. They are famous in all the world.</div><div>The buildings were built in places with a high economic and social level, were the bourgeoisie lived because in those periods the disaster of the 98 caused a crisis suffered by the low society. In the case of Batlo house, the building was from a rich man that left there with is family until they died. The Güel Park in turn was also from a rich businessman friend of Gaudí that let him do what he wanted there.</div><div>        </div>]]></description>
