In the world today, a lot more would be accomplished if people would do something about their current situations instead of complaining about it. Our shirt has an image of a finger over the lips which indicates not speaking. This represents Benjamin Franklin because he was a man of action

"The noblest question in the world is What good may I do in it?". We chose this aphorisoms because Benjamin Franklin made a difference. He didn't experiment his theory just to make him look better. He did it for others. People today are coming together to help others in Hurricane Matthew. They are doing good not for themselves but for others just like Benjamin Franklin did.

“Beware of little expenses, a small leak will sink a great ship”.

America has spent money on many pointless thing. The U.S government paid 146 million dollars to allow their employees to upgrade their flights to first class, 25,000 dollars was spent to promote a national tour for the Alabama watermelon queen. 27 million was spent teaching Moroccan’s to design and make pottery, over the past 15 years a total of 5.25 million has been spent on hair care services for the U.S senate. Franklin said to “beware of little expenses, a small leak will sink a great ship”. These seemingly small expenses, and many more, have built up over 19 trillion dollars in debt.

“Pride dines on Vanity, sups on contempt.” We chose this aphorism because it relates to the upcoming election. The quote describes the political candidates for the 2016 election. This image shows the effects high levels of pride and vanity alter a person’s persona. This ties to Ben Franklin because he helped found a new nation through politics.
